Enrolments
Conditions of Enrolment
Sydney Adventist College is operated for the benefit of the Seventh-day Adventist community, but is open to all students without regard to their religion, ethnic background or national origin. Students who wish to enrol at the College need to abide by the school’s standards of conduct and dress. All students are expected to join in the spiritual activities of the College and to show respect for God and His Word. Every effort is made to provide opportunity for both boys and girls to participate in all activities and, as far as possible, the College attempts to accommodate disadvantaged students.
Student Pledge
It is understood that every student who is accepted into Sydney Adventist College pledges to observe the Christian principles upon which this school operates. If this pledge is broken, it is understood he or she forfeits this membership and if permitted to remain, it is only by the forbearance of the teachers and the College Board. It is the student’s responsibility to perform all duties assigned to him or her in connection with the school.
Enrolment Procedure
Application forms may be obtained from the College Business Office or from this website (see below). These are to be completed and returned, together if applicable, with the latest character reference and scholastic reports from the school the student has been attending. For overseas student applicants, a AU$200 application fee should be paid with the application. For applicants who are local residents, a AU$200 enrolment fee should be paid upon acceptance of the letter of offer. An appointment also needs to be arranged for an interview with the Principal. No student will be permitted to commence classes until final approval has been granted and the registration process completed.
At the time of enrolment, parents should advise the College of any family court order, which may relate to the child.

Termination of Enrolment
As a student's position in class will be difficult to fill at short notice the College Council requires appropriate notice be given for the intention to terminate enrolment. Appropriate notice is one full term's fees for Australian residents and two full term's fees for students on student visas.
In the event of a student leaving during the College year, the procedure is as follows:
- Inform the Principal or Deputy Principal in writing of the intention to withdraw as soon as the decision has been reached.
- Obtain a de-registration form from the main office.
- Sign and date the de-registration form and hand in to the main office for the Principal’s signature.
Withdrawal from the College is not complete until the above procedure has been finalised. Fees will be calculated to the date of termination.
